All the papers must be submitted electronically via the Conference website where the required format and paper submission procedure are detailed.

For submitting a paper, please prepare a 35-word abstract, a one-page extended abstract, and a three-page summary.

The 35-word abstract, together with the title, authors, affiliations, correspondence author name and address should be filled in the template at the Conference website.

The one-page extended abstract, including the title, authors, affiliations, addresses, text, figures, equations and references, should be in the PDF form and be uploaded at the Conference website.

The three-page summary, including the title, authors, affiliations, addresses, text, figures, equations and references, should also be in the PDF form and be uploaded at the Conference website.

Note that the one-page extended abstracts will be printed in the Conference Proceedings, to be distributed with hard copies, and the three-page summaries will be edited and distributed with optical disks.

The Conference website will be ready for the second-run paper submission starting June 1, 2003. The deadline for paper submission is 6:00pm on July 31, 2003(Taipei time). Authors are encouraged to submit papers as early as possible to prevent from congestion of internet traffic around the deadline.

Please follow strictly the instructions described at the conference website. Submissions with format other than PDF files will not be acceptable. Paper acceptance will be announced around September 15, 2003.

Post-Deadline Papers

A limited number of post-deadline papers are to be accepted for oral presentations at the conference. For submitting post-deadline papers, please prepare ten hard copies of the three-page summary and post-mail to Professor Chung-Chih Wu, Graduate Institute of Electro-Optical Engineering, National Taiwan University, No. 1, Section 4, Roosevelt Road, Taipei, 106, Taiwan. Submissions must be received by Professor Chung-Chih Wu by November 30, 2003. Submitted papers will be reviewed by a committee. The accepted post-deadline papers will be announced and presented at the conference.
