PhD Quota There are no quota restrictions on the GIEE or GSAT. Students are encouraged to pursue their direct Ph.D. If they encounter difficulties, they can still graduate with an MS degree. The regulations are as follows: Those who have studied for a bachelor’s or master’s degree for one year, suspend their doctoral studies, or fail to pass the doctoral candidate qualification examination may be reviewed and approved by the relevant meeting of the department, institute, and degree program and approved by the NTU provost, must be transferred (returned) to the master's class. After completing the required courses in the master's class, submitting a thesis, and passing the master's degree examination, the master's degree can be awarded.
